Job Summary
Serving as the scientific Senior Scientist Business Owner for digital tools and workflows, the full-time remote Senior Scientist, Molecular Biology will manage the scientific data domain supporting molecular cloning and construct design, translating scientific needs into actionable product priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead meetings with molecular biologists and cloning scientists to address their workflow and tool-related needs
- Translate scientific requirements into clear data and workflow specifications for technology teams
- Ensure the data model supports individual construct and plasmid design workflows, collaborating on implementation and maintenance
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of molecular cloning and plasmid design workflows
- Experience with antibody-based molecule formats and their structural interpretation
- Familiarity with scientific data models and cross-system data integration
- Experience leading requirements reviews and user acceptance testing in a scientific context
