Job Summary
Focused on advancing siRNA research, the full-time remote Senior Scientist - siRNA Off-Target Analysis will design and execute off-target assessments, produce regulatory reports, and develop computational tools for data analysis and visualization.
Key responsibilities
- Building and enhancing scalable computational transcriptomics workflows for siRNA off-target assessments
- Applying biological and statistical methods to interpret data and communicate potential risks collaboratively
- Producing rigorous weight-of-evidence outputs for regulatory submissions and maintaining reusable computational tools
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, or data science
- Strong programming skills in Python and R, with experience in developing reproducible computational workflows
- Background in transcriptomic data analysis, including bulk and single-cell RNA-seq
- Familiarity with nonclinical safety data and toxicology in drug development
