Senior Scientist - Translational Safety

Job Summary

Leading the integration of modern data infrastructure and analytics platforms, the full-time remote Senior Scientist - Translational Safety will develop scalable solutions for New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and collaborate across teams to enhance translational safety initiatives at Amgen.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and visualization solutions for NAMs initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to standardize data structures across safety domains
• Conceptualize and build interactive dashboards to enable AI-supported decision-making

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience developing data infrastructure and analytics solutions in Databricks environments
• Strong expertise in data visualization, particularly with Spotfire
• Knowledge of relational databases and cloud-based analytics platforms
• Understanding of FAIR data principles and data governance best practices
