Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Scientist specializing in Sediment & Risk Assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage routine to complex environmental projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality
• Design and implement environmental investigations, particularly for contaminated sediment, in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare high-quality technical deliverables and advocate for investigation findings with state and federal regulators

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting and site investigation
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring staff
• Strong knowledge of regulations for remedial investigation and risk assessment under state and federal programs
• M.S. degree in biology, chemistry, geology, ecology, engineering, environmental science, natural resources, toxicology, or a related field
