Senior Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of a major platform, the contract Senior Security Analyst will perform security analysis, conduct vulnerability assessments, and monitor compliance while working remotely from Woodlawn, MD.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security analysis, vulnerability assessments, and compliance monitoring
• Review and validate security scan results from tools such as Tenable and Qualys
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years, or PhD with no experience
• 5 to 8 years of experience in security analysis or cybersecurity operations in a large enterprise or federal environment
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning platforms and understanding of CVE and CVSS
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards including NIST 800-53 and CIS benchmarks
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
