Senior Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the security and risk program, the remote Senior Security Analyst will manage incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Review and investigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with the Security Operations Center
• Drive the vulnerability management lifecycle, including risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and application security assessments
• Support ongoing security program maturation by improving tools, processes, and operational capabilities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Governance Risk & Compliance, preferably in healthcare or TPA sectors
• Hands-on experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations processes
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks including HITRUST, SOC 2, and HIPAA
• Experience conducting third-party risk assessments and maintaining risk registers
