Senior Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Security Operations Analyst will ensure the completion of key security operations tasks, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management while collaborating with technical teams to enhance security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security incident and event management systems, responding to alerts and notifications
• Initiate escalation procedures to address potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Investigate suspicious network and endpoint activity while supporting end-user security issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science
• 5+ years of experience in information technologies, particularly in information security
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NIST
• Experience with penetration testing tools like Kali Linux and Wireshark
• Preferred experience in healthcare and academia
