Senior Security Analyst (Healthcare)

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Senior Security Analyst (Healthcare) will be responsible for protecting information systems and data, focusing on safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events, lead incident response efforts, and maintain security tools to enhance detection capabilities
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements through risk assessments, audits, and policy development
• Conduct vulnerability scans and manage remediation efforts, prioritizing risks based on business impact and regulatory exposure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in healthcare IT or regulated environments
• Demonstrated experience with incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management
• Strong understanding of security operations, network security, and cloud security principles
• Familiarity with HIPAA Security Rule and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
