Senior Security Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Architect (VCF & vDefend SME) to support a remote team in leading security validation projects for a global financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate micro-segmentation strategies using distributed firewall policies with vDefend
• Utilize Security Services Platform tools for flow analysis, rule recommendations, and real-time security monitoring
• Collaborate with global security teams to secure certification for the cloud platform and lead architectural assessments

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing security architectures in cloud environments, specifically with VMware products
• Proficiency in deploying and managing vDefend or similar security solutions
• Knowledge of micro-segmentation and DFW policies in enterprise networks
• Ability to partner effectively with security teams for certifications and compliance
• Relevant security certifications and experience in financial or regulated industries
