Senior Security Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance enterprise cybersecurity operations, the remote Senior Security Automation Engineer will design, develop, and optimize security orchestration and automation solutions, including SOAR workflows, Python-based automation, and API integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize security automation workflows across enterprise security environments
- Build and maintain SOAR playbooks for alert enrichment, investigation, incident response, and automated remediation
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and SOC teams to identify automation and process improvement opportunities
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations
- Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms such as Splunk SOAR/Phantom or Cortex XSOAR
- Strong Python development and scripting experience
- Experience developing REST API integrations with cybersecurity platforms
- Understanding of SOC operations and incident response processes
