Senior Security Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations, the remote Senior Security Automation Engineer will design, develop, and optimize security orchestration and automation solutions, including SOAR workflows and Python-based automation to enhance SOC efficiency and automate incident response processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize security automation and orchestration workflows across enterprise security environments
• Build and maintain SOAR playbooks for alert enrichment, investigation, incident response, and automated remediation
• Integrate SOAR platforms with SIEM, EDR, ITSM, and other cybersecurity technologies while developing reusable automation frameworks

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations
• Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms such as Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR, or Demisto
• Strong Python development and scripting experience
• Experience developing REST API integrations and connecting cybersecurity platforms
• Understanding of SOC operations, incident response, and automated remediation processes
