Senior Security Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure robust security measures and compliance, the full-time Senior Security Compliance Analyst will collaborate with various teams to implement security controls, respond to security assessments, and recommend new technologies while working remotely from the Los Angeles, CA area.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cybersecurity architects, legal teams, and product management to implement security capabilities and controls
• Provide detailed responses to security assessment questionnaires and guide the risk and compliance team on technical components
• Conduct security architecture reviews and support product testing during audits, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Two years of experience as a Security Analyst or in a related occupation
• Familiarity with industry security compliance frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR
• Experience with cloud security concepts, including DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of security engineering practices, including incident response and vulnerability management
