Senior Security Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of security roadmap items and implement Zero Trust principles across various Microsoft platforms
• Design and tune analytics rules and automate incident response workflows using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender
• Lead implementations of data protection measures and compliance frameworks, ensuring security and governance alignment

Required Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in cloud/security consulting or operations, with 3+ years focused on Microsoft security across M365 & Azure
• Depth in Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID, and Intune/Endpoint Management
• Experience mapping controls to HIPAA, NIST CSF, CIS, SOC 2, and producing audit-ready artifacts
• Fundamentals of scripting/automation for operationalizing repeatable patterns
• Strong consulting competencies in customer discovery, backlog creation, and executive communication
