Senior Security Consultant, QSA

Job Summary

Leading compliance-focused consulting engagements, the full-time Senior Security Consultant, QSA will serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating cybersecurity and regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and execute multiple client consulting engagements, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards
• Conduct annual PCI DSS compliance assessments, including SAQs and ROCs, while providing expert guidance on security frameworks
• Assess client security programs to identify risks and compliance gaps, developing practical remediation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in information security compliance or 7+ years in a related field
• Active PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) certification, along with a professional certification such as CISSP or CISA
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including PCI DSS, NIST, and HIPAA
• Technical foundation in IT and security concepts, with the ability to evaluate environments for risk and compliance
• Demonstrated critical-thinking and advisory skills, with experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing actionable recommendations
