Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning impactful projects within the security team, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will participate in risk identification exercises, coordinate cross-functional security initiatives, and enhance the company's security culture while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in team exercises to identify potential security risks, including threat modeling and tabletop scenarios
• Plan and coordinate projects to address prioritized security risks across the organization
• Partner with engineering teams to architect secure software and build maintainable security programs

Required qualifications

• Experience with threat modeling, red teaming, penetration testing, or similar security issue identification methods
• Proficiency in software development with the ability to read code for security vulnerabilities
• Strong project management skills and a track record of independent ownership of responsibilities
• Deep empathy for developers and strong collaboration skills
• Curiosity and willingness to leverage AI to enhance security practices and efficiency
