Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the security of software development, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will embed security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), manage application security testing, and enhance software supply chain security while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Embed security into the SDLC through threat modeling, secure design reviews, and secure coding guidance
• Manage application security testing processes, including code reviews and remediation of identified issues
• Enhance software supply chain security through dependency verification and CI/CD pipeline security

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product/application security engineering
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in languages such as Python or Go
• Deep understanding of secure SDLC, threat modeling, and supply chain security
• Familiarity with the modern AI landscape and its impact on security
• Experience in a startup environment with high ownership and adaptability
