Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Security Engineer to enhance application security by reviewing and hardening Python code, identifying vulnerabilities, and integrating secure development practices in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep security reviews of Python applications, APIs, and enterprise features to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Implement security tooling throughout the development lifecycle and perform internal red teaming against LiteLLM's systems
• Lead security incident response efforts and establish formal vulnerability management processes

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in application security, particularly with Python code auditing and vulnerability remediation
• Experience with security tools such as Semgrep, Bandit, and Burp Suite
• Familiarity with securing CI/CD pipelines, containers, and software dependencies
• Strong knowledge of authentication methods, IAM, and common web vulnerabilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
