Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to manage IT security enhancements and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure infrastructural modifications and manage configuration and change management frameworks
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure while ensuring compliance with NIST standards
• Provide support for critical network and security functions, including firewall management and incident response

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred for senior roles
• 6+ years of experience in information security or a related IT field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CCSP
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards, such as HIPAA and NIST frameworks
