Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Security Engineer to maintain and enhance security measures across its infrastructure and application environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability management to identify and mitigate security risks
• Perform penetration testing and collaborate on security improvements with various teams
• Manage incident detection and response efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialist
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 security standards and experience with SIEM tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python
