Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer responsible for security design and reviews across products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide engineering teams in secure system design and implementation, focusing on Platform services
• Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments across various applications and infrastructure
• Perform in-depth security reviews of new features, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, or related field, with 8+ years in security
• Extensive experience in security testing for web applications, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
• Strong understanding of software security architecture, threat modeling, and secure coding practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS and knowledge of network-based and application layer attacks
• Development experience in programming languages such as Java is required
