Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer, Detection and Response.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls and policies to enhance detection and response capabilities
• Address findings from automation and tooling, ensuring effective response and remediation
• Run and manage detection tooling and automation across the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, with advanced degrees or certifications preferred
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focused on detection and response
• Deep understanding of AWS architecture and security services
• Proficiency in using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting languages for automation
• Solid knowledge of network security, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices
