Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to enhance security measures and conduct various security assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct purple team testing, including threat research, penetration testing, and security validation
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to improve security controls and respond to security findings
• Manage software tools for vulnerability identification and coordinate internal red team testing operations

Required Qualifications

• Experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, NMAP, and Metasploit
• In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management tools and application security testing technologies
• Understanding of authentication concepts including OpenIDConnect, SAML, and OAuth
• Strong working knowledge of data and network security technologies
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for open source and internet security
