Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer who will lead security initiatives while actively engaging in hands-on engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the company's security strategy, ensuring integration across engineering, product, IT, and legal
• Lead application security efforts, including threat modeling, secure code reviews, and vulnerability management
• Build and maintain security tooling and implement security controls across various layers of the infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong experience in application security and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) integration
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 is a plus
