Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist SOC with monitoring IDS/IPS, firewall, and email alerts
• Validate operational state of critical network security systems and review quarantined items
• Coordinate with SOC on correlated events and perform firewall rule reviews/cleanup

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in Information Security
• Hands-on experience with email defense (Proofpoint) and network security
• Preferred experience in healthcare, PCI, HIPAA, and NIST
• Security certifications such as ISC2, GIAC, CISM/A, or CEH
