Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on securing products and cloud environments, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will collaborate with development teams and third-party groups to implement security practices, conduct design reviews, and manage vulnerability assessments in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain security practices and controls across products and cloud environments
• Partner with engineering and product teams to conduct security design reviews and implement secure development practices
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and manage security operations processes to improve incident response and risk management

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or related fields
• Hands-on experience with application security practices and tools such as SAST, DAST, and vulnerability assessments
• Strong understanding of cloud security controls and web application protocols
• Minimum BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related degree
• Experience with SIEM platforms and incident response procedures
