Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will conduct comprehensive security assessments, lead the design and implementation of security controls, and manage core security platforms to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks
• Design and implement security controls, incident response plans, and automation for compliance checks
• Administer core security technologies and perform technical security assessments, including penetration testing

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management
• 3+ years of experience leading Security Operations and incident response with a proven track record
• Advanced proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python or Bash
• Deep expertise in cloud environments, particularly AWS and GCP
• Familiarity with key security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, and PCI DSS
