Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To manage the technical aspects of security programs, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will oversee endpoint hygiene, vulnerability management, and incident response while working remotely within a healthcare revenue cycle management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage security tools including NinjaOne, Rapid7 InsightVM, and InsightIDR for endpoint and vulnerability management
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on security measures and maintain compliance with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 standards
• Lead incident response efforts and ensure the effectiveness of security policies and runbooks

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
• Hands-on experience with NinjaOne or a comparable RMM platform and Rapid7 InsightVM/InsightIDR
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS security services, including Defender for Cloud and GuardDuty
• Experience securing Microsoft 365 environments, including Defender for Office 365
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
