Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the tooling and automation for application security, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will build systems that integrate security seamlessly into developer workflows while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the vulnerability management program, focusing on application security and runtime detection
• Develop and maintain security tools that automate security processes within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development practices through practical tools and defaults

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software and/or platform engineering
• Deep expertise in application security and vulnerability management
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP/GKE or similar
• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for coding and analysis
• Experience in influencing engineering culture to prioritize security without hindering development speed
