Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

As the first Senior Security Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage Odyssey's security posture by shaping strategy, building security programs, and driving best practices across the technology stack while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security risks and enhance threat detection.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to identify, assess, and remediate security risks across products and infrastructure
• Perform vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts to resolution
• Maintain and mature SOC 2 Type II program, ensuring a secure environment for all stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on security and cloud security
• Solid understanding of industry standards and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling for threat detection and vulnerability analysis
• Proficiency in deploying SAST, DAST, and SCA tools across the software development lifecycle
• Strong track record of managing security projects end-to-end within timelines and budgets
