Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the tooling and automation for application security, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will develop and maintain security systems that integrate into CI/CD pipelines and enhance secure development practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve the vulnerability management program with a focus on application security and runtime detection
• Build and maintain security tooling that automates security processes within developer workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development practices through effective tooling and defaults

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software and/or platform engineering with a focus on production-quality tools
• Deep knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, and SDLC integration
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP/GKE or similar
• Proficiency in using AI tools for coding and automation as a core part of development
• Experience in influencing engineering culture around security practices
