Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely and collaborating with engineering teams, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will enhance platform security through consultation, code reviews, and the evaluation of emerging technologies while managing application vulnerabilities and incident responses.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to improve security through consultation, education, and tooling
• Perform code reviews and security assessments throughout the Secure Development Lifecycle
• Manage application vulnerability reports and facilitate incident responses

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience contributing to secure outcomes with engineering teams
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and other industry security standards
• Experience in application security and security testing
• Proficiency in secure code review, including languages such as PHP, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Demonstrated judgment skills and a commitment to high security standards
