Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on building and operating the data platform that powers security operations, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will design telemetry ingestion pipelines, normalize security data, and maintain data models in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate telemetry ingestion pipelines for collecting and processing data from various security sources
• Normalize and enrich telemetry into structured datasets to enable consistent signal correlation
• Provide governed access to security datasets through APIs and query interfaces for various teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale data pipelines in a security or enterprise data environment
• Strong understanding of security telemetry from endpoint, identity, network, and cloud sources
• Experience with modern data platforms and ingestion technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Kafka
• Hands-on experience with data normalization frameworks or standards like OCSF or ECS
