Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage cloud and network security, compliance operations, and identity systems, ensuring adherence to federal standards and protecting critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud networking architectures and manage cloud security posture across GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Oversee next-generation firewall platforms and enforce network access control policies for both cloud and on-premises environments
• Implement technical controls for compliance with CMMC Level 2, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-171, while conducting risk assessments and continuous monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure security, network security, or IT systems engineering with a security focus
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments in GCP, AWS, or Azure, including networking and IAM controls
• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing cloud network security controls, including firewalls and traffic inspection
• Proficiency with next-generation firewalls and security monitoring tools
• Direct experience implementing technical controls for CMMC L2, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-171 compliance programs
