Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering with the Head of Security, the full-time remote Senior Security Engineer will build, operate, and scale the security program, focusing on threat modeling, application security toolchain management, and day-to-day security operations in a high-stakes DeFi environment.

Key responsibilities

• Threat model new product features and harden systems with effective controls
• Operate and evolve the application security toolchain, maintaining high-signal outputs for developers
• Own day-to-day security operations, triaging vulnerabilities and driving remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on security engineering, including product or application security and security operations
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, with experience in AI tools
• Experience securing high-value transaction systems and managing security projects end to end
• An adversarial mindset with a proven track record of technical security assessments
• Clear communication skills to explain risks and drive findings to closure
