Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To protect enterprise systems and cloud environments from evolving cyber threats, the full-time remote Senior Security Engineer will focus on advanced security engineering, threat detection, and AI-driven security capabilities while leading complex investigations and improving detection and response through automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI workflows and autonomous playbooks for automating alert triage and incident response
• Develop and tune detection logic across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and cloud platforms, emphasizing behavioral analytics
• Lead threat hunting initiatives and serve as a Tier-3 escalation resource for high-severity security incidents

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on security or detection engineering
• 3+ years in a Senior Security Engineer role
• Deep technical knowledge of incident response and threat hunting
• Experience securing and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering
