Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Security Engineer will focus on automating security detection, responding to incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate security incidents using digital forensics and data analytics
• Develop automation and detection models to identify and mitigate threats at scale
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and conduct complex investigations

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, and threat hunting
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages, with familiarity in SQL and Pandas
• Knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda is preferred
• Ability to work independently and lead in complex situations
