Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the ongoing scaling of a growing engineering organization, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will devise and implement security policies and procedures while working remotely, focusing on securing web and Bitcoin services, conducting penetration testing, and performing source code reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy testing infrastructure for fuzzing, black+white box testing, and penetration testing of open source and production systems
• Perform security audits of internal production systems and open source software interacting with Bitcoin and Lightning
• Create global security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain security across the organization

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in systems security
• Extensive knowledge of operating systems and computer architecture internals
• Strong understanding of cryptography, protocol design, and adversarial analysis
• Professional software development experience in Go, Rust, C/C++, and/or Java
• Experience working with remote teams and familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure
