Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Security Engineer will analyze the information security environment, develop security measures, and mentor staff on security policies and practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify securable resources and assist business staff in selecting appropriate resource owners
• Consult with IT staff to evaluate and implement security functions for hardware and software systems
• Develop and implement information security educational programs and maintain documentation of security policies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security
• 6+ years of IT experience with exposure to security solutions and application development
• Familiarity with information security standards like NIST, COBIT, and ISO 27001
