Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and buildout of cloud and data security tooling, the full-time remote Senior Security Engineer will drive engineering security policy, collaborate with internal teams, and enhance Qventus' security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the design, buildout, and priorities of cloud and data security engineering
• Collaborate with teams to automate security guardrails
• Develop controls for validating secure access to sensitive data

Required Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, including threat models and IAM
• Experience with cloud and data security tooling like CNAPP or DSPM
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience implementing policy-as-code in CI/CD or Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with securing containerized workloads and handling regulated data (HIPAA)
