Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on security and compliance, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage security reviews, detection and incident response, and identity and endpoint security for the Azure platform, while ensuring SOC 2 compliance, in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews and maintain security posture across the Azure environment
• Own detection engineering and incident response, including KQL detections and alerting processes
• Manage identity and endpoint security, defining device-security baselines and compliance policies

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing Azure identity, network, and secrets management
• Practical knowledge of Entra Conditional Access and major EDR platforms
• Experience in detection engineering and incident response, including KQL
• Proven track record in running security reviews and maintaining security policies
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II compliance, ideally with Drata or similar platforms
