Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the security of software development, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will embed security into the Software Development Lifecycle, manage application security testing, and enhance software supply chain security while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Embed security into the software development lifecycle through threat modeling, secure design reviews, and secure-coding guidance
• Own application security testing, including code review and triage, driving issues to remediation
• Harden the software supply chain by managing dependencies and ensuring CI/CD pipeline security

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of extensive experience in product/application security
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Typescript
• Depth in application/product security practices, including secure SDLC and threat modeling
• Fluency with the modern AI landscape and its implications for security
• Experience in a startup environment, demonstrating high ownership and adaptability
