Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a critical contributor in a full-time capacity, the Senior Security Engineer will strengthen and scale security foundations focused on identity and access management, authentication systems, and secure development practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and improve security posture across applications, infrastructure, and development workflows
• Own identity and access management, including secure authentication systems and machine-to-machine processes
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and partner with engineering teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or Software Engineer with a strong security focus
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade software and internal tooling
• Strong background in application security, infrastructure security, and secure CI/CD practices
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management, including authentication and authorization frameworks
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or CIS Controls in production environments
