Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior Security Engineer, the full-time position will focus on enhancing identity and access management, secure authentication systems, and embedding security practices within CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and improve security posture across applications and infrastructure, implementing scalable security standards and best practices
• Own identity and access management processes, including designing and maintaining secure authentication systems
• Provide security guidance during system design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into development workflows

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or Software Engineer with a focus on security
• Proven experience in application security, infrastructure security, and secure CI/CD practices
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management systems and machine-to-machine security patterns
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or CIS Controls in production environments
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
