Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Threat Detection and Response team, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will perform investigations of security incidents, develop automation and detection models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate security incidents utilizing digital forensics and data analytics
• Build automation and detection models to identify and respond to threats at scale
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve overall security and conduct complex investigations

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, including incident response and threat hunting
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages, with experience in SQL and Pandas
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) preferred
• Knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain Framework and MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Experience in automating security detection and response processes
