Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing security within application delivery and cloud infrastructure, the remote Senior Security Engineer will write automation, integrate security tools, and implement security controls to reduce vulnerabilities and streamline remediation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support application security through automation and integration of security controls as code
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and improve security practices
• Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows to enhance security review and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, software engineering, security engineering, or related fields
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python, with experience in automation and integrations
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other cloud environments
