Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the Data Security domain, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will define and implement strategies to protect sensitive data at scale while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the data security strategy and roadmap for sensitive data, including PII and financial information
• Design and improve data access governance, ensuring compliance with security standards and controls
• Automate security workflows and develop playbooks to enhance data security practices across the organization

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data security, cloud security, or related technical fields
• Hands-on experience securing sensitive data in cloud environments
• Familiarity with IAM, encryption, data classification, and data loss prevention tools
• Experience embedding security requirements into data platforms and analytics workflows
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GLBA, or PCI DSS
