Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as the primary technical authority, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage the architecture, administration, and incident response of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform in a remote capacity, ensuring effective threat detection and response across multiple agency environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain the CrowdStrike Falcon platform across multi-tenant environments, including policy tuning and sensor deployment strategies
• Act as the final technical escalation point for complex endpoint threats, executing advanced containment and remediation during incidents
• Design and support telemetry integrations with SIEM/SOAR platforms, automating response actions and developing actionable dashboards for stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon at enterprise scale, including endpoint threat hunting and custom IOA/IOC creation
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, and Bash for automated remediation and API integration
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS internals, as well as network security principles
• Must hold at least one active advanced security certification such as CISSP, GCFA, or equivalent
• Proven ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders effectively
