Senior Security Engineer
Job Summary
To strengthen the security posture of the core payments platform, the full-time remote Senior Security Engineer will identify and remediate vulnerabilities, drive infrastructure security improvements, and conduct security reviews of AI-assisted development pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across the Java-based platform and AWS infrastructure
- Drive infrastructure security improvements, including IAM policy refinement and network egress controls
- Conduct security reviews of AI-assisted development pipelines and maintain secure development standards
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience in application, cloud, or infrastructure security
- Strong experience with AWS security services and primitives, such as IAM and VPC networking
- Experience securing large production codebases, preferably within the JVM ecosystem
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and their security implications
- Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated environments is a plus
