Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the Cybersecurity program, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will mature Risk Management and Incident Response areas by conducting risk assessments, organizing tabletop exercises, and collaborating with staff across the organization in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program, including policy maintenance and risk assessments
• Conduct periodic risk analysis and manage vulnerabilities and incidents
• Evaluate, select, and implement information security tools while maintaining security policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Security certification such as CEH, CISSP, GCIH, or GSEC
• Experience with HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, NIST, and other security frameworks
• 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
