Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a fully remote Senior Security Engineer, the candidate will lead the security design and implementation for AI infrastructure, manage threat modeling for AI-specific risks, and develop security tooling to facilitate safe AI adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the security design, implementation, and controls for AI infrastructure and internal workflows
• Own threat modeling for AI-specific risks and design controls for validating and auditing AI outputs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence the direction of the Security program and automate GRC-related engineering

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering, with experience in AI/ML security, cloud infrastructure security, and/or GRC compliance engineering
• Practical experience securing AI systems and familiarity with common AI-specific threats
• Strong working knowledge of GCP and AWS security services and IAM models
• Experience with GitHub security controls and secure software supply chain practices
• Demonstrated ability to build security programs and processes from scratch
